The idea behind GCT
GCT Birth
Global Careers Tribe was inspired by Francesco's experience as a Career Advisor at a university in the USA. While working there, Francesco noticed a recurring issue: international students struggling to find jobs in a foreign country. Having faced the same challenges himself, he understood the difficulties that foreigners encounter when navigating a new job market.
Recognizing a gap in clear guidance and valuable resources for global job seekers, Francesco envisioned a solution. Driven by his passion for helping others and improving career prospects, he started developing the idea for Global Careers Tribe to simplify the job search process for people around the world.
Global Careers Tribe reflects Francesco's commitment to providing essential tools and support for navigating today's complex job market. His goal is to offer a reliable platform that guides and assists individuals aiming to advance their careers internationally.
Global Careers Tribe is more than just a website; it's a testament to Francesco's dedication to supporting job seekers and making a positive impact on their professional journeys. It's his way of giving back and helping those who are courageously pursuing their dreams on a global scale.

About me
Hello! I am Francesco, a Career Consultant with over 8 years of experience helping people find jobs around the world. Currently, I work as a Career Coach at the University of the West of England in Bristol (UK). I am also part of the Association of Graduate Careers Advisory Services (AGCAS), where I volunteer to improve career support for international students in UK universities.
The idea for Global Careers Tribe came to me during my time as a Career Advisor at Western Michigan University (USA), where I met many international students struggling to secure jobs. I faced similar challenges myself while looking for permanent work in America. Realizing the lack of clear guidance and helpful resources, I started organizing online information to help job seekers around the world plan their searches more effectively.
At the University of the West of England, I have become a key point of contact for coaching international students across all disciplines and sectors on job searches. My collaboration with student societies earned me the "Best Colleague of the Year 2023" award for supporting international students and sharing knowledge to improve their experience.
Before launching Global Careers Tribe, I worked for six years across the globe (United States of America, United Kingdom, Italy, Spain, Malaysia, Czechia, Latvia), gaining experience in different industries, including banking, NGOs, multinational corporations, social enterprises, and educational institutions. Through these diverse experiences, I became familiar with various recruitment strategies, navigated different work cultures, and learned the challenges of securing a job with visa sponsorship. Over time, I developed a strategic approach to these challenges, and I am passionate about sharing my best practices to help job seekers find opportunities abroad.
Global Careers Tribe is a gift for all those risk-takers who are willing to create a positive change in their careers – and in their lives.
